As some of you already know, by the news on TV, Vatican is preparing new rules for the Holy Communion. One of them is to receive the Host directly on the mouth.
They will be only guidances (at least I hope so), but I have to give my opinion about this.
Those who know me, know that I am catholic. I participate in the Holy Communion and I offer my hand to receive the Host.
If some people don't make it correctly we have to teach them as they must do it.
I entirely agree that is an act that deserves our respect, yet I think that it's not for receiving in our hands that it will lose dignity.
We should not cheapen, nevertheless I am afraid that some decisions can move away the people from Church.
